Lound is an automated journaling and reflection tool. It is not an emergency response service, and your entries and chats are not monitored for emergency intervention. Lound does not provide a clinician or promise a human response to what you share.

AI may miss or misunderstand urgent situations. A reply or check-in is not a safety assessment. Do not rely on Lound, its notifications, or support email for urgent help. If you or someone else is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services or an appropriate crisis service and seek help from a person nearby.

Contextual questions and reminders are optional reflection features, not health monitoring. Their delivery and timing depend on device settings, connectivity, and service availability.

9. How We Handle Your Data

When you record a voice memo:

Important: While we use encryption in transit, your recordings are not end-to-end encrypted. They're sent to third-party services for processing. If you need end-to-end encryption, Lound isn't the right fit.

Most disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration under AAA Consumer Arbitration Rules, not in court. Exceptions:

If you're in a jurisdiction where this arbitration clause isn't enforceable (like the EU, UK, or Canada), it won't apply to you. Instead, disputes will be resolved in your local courts as required by your local consumer protection laws.
